INGREDIENTS

Vegetables and Fruits: Minced olives, cherry tomatoes

Protein: Goat cheese

Seasonings & Sauces: Olive oil, garlic, thyme, basil, salt, and ground black pepper

Possible Additions: Any bread to toast, e.g. ciabatta or baguette

 

PREPARATION


In a bowl, combine minced olives, garlic, minced basil, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

Turn on your Nutrigrill to the highest setting and adjust the temperature down as needed while you cook. There is no need to pre-heat since it heats up in seconds. You can adjust the temperature up or down as you cook if you find you need more or less heat.

Drizzle some olive oil on the grill top. Add in the halved cherry tomatoes, minced garlic and thyme. While cooking the tomatoes, toast the bread on the grill top.

On the toasted bread, spread a layer of goat cheese and olive tapenade. Add your sauteed tomatoes on top, and serve.

TIP: Garnish your dish with fresh basil leaves or any green herb. The colour combination of greens and reds on your plate makes your food look more appetizing.
